AMS achieves ISO 9001:200 accreditation
AMS, a leading instrumentation and calibration equipment, today announced that it was recently awarded the prestigious International Organization for Standards (ISO) 9001:2000 certification for the Company's Quality Management System by Lloyd's Register.
"This achievement was a direct result of the entire organization working together effectively to develop and maintaining the excellent quality standards we have to achieve for customer satisfaction, standardization, and continuous improvement of our internal processes," said Dirk Kuiper, General Manager of AMS.
"With ISO 9001:2000 certification, we have established a Quality Management System that will be able us to achieve long-term operational excellence and success. AMS's customers expect nothing less-and we'll meet their expectations."
AMS first embarked on the "Road to ISO" late in 2006. The effort was driven by a small quality team led by Dirk Kuiper. The implementation was made easy by the acceptance of the system by all staff, which had an input in the streamlining of the whole process.

AMS appointed YAMATAKE distributor for Australia
